The two gates in life
Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it. Mathew 7:13-14
In life there are many choices and every choice you make determines the path that you walk on. God has giving us the power to decide what to do and what we shouldn’t do. God doesn’t force his will on us even though he want us to make the right choice. Jesus said in Mathew 7:13 -14 there are only two gates in life and one is narrow and the other is wide but he said “enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to distraction”
Entering through the narrow gate means walking in God’s word and obeying him daily while entering through the wide gate means by disobeying God and living life the way you want it instead of God’s way. The rules that govern the society makes us think like we have our right to do whatever that we want to and by this people have entered into some serious addictions that’s really destroying their precious lives. The narrow gate is full of peace, joy satisfaction and many more. Only God can give you true peace and joy. Today I want you to think about where you are walking now, check your life, is there anything that I’m doing that doesn’t pleases God? If you are on the narrow road I will encourage you to keep on moving but if you are on wide road just know that there’s a great distraction ahead so jump off from that road.
Above all there’s life after death the path you are walking now will determine where you will spend eternity. The wide road leads to Hell while the narrow Road leads to Heaven. Make a quality decision today!
Do you have Jesus in your life? He is the only way to heaven “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” John 14:16
Speak this out: Dear Lord Jesus I’m sorry for my sins please forgive me. I believe that God sent you to come and die for my sins and you arose on the third day triumphantly. I confess that you are Lord and come and live in my heart and please write my name in the book of life. Amen
